Information collected and why

• Adventure Pack access: the adult email address you submit, the time of submission, and your access acknowledgment. Your name, postal address, date of birth, and payment details are not requested.
• Optional updates: we record your separate choices for Adventure Pack news and book news, future books, and related reading-resource updates. Neither marketing choice is required to access the pack.
• Direct email: your email address and the message you choose to send, used to answer your request.
• Technical operation: the hosting service may process IP addresses, request URLs, browser details, timestamps, and error logs to deliver and secure the site. Signup and administrator rate limiting uses an IP-derived identifier.

Storage and service providers

Signup records are saved on the website server. New signups are stored on this website. Older signup records may also be held in a private Google Sheet through the previous Google Apps Script connection. Website hosting, Google, and email providers process information needed to provide these services. Signup information is intended for authorized site administrators. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect the website and its users.

Your choices

Marketing choices start unchecked. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information, or withdraw an update subscription, by emailing the address above. Use the subject “Privacy request” or “Unsubscribe.” We may ask for information needed to verify the request. Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out. Sending a question does not opt you into marketing.

Children

The books are for young readers, but signup and contact facilities are intended for parents, educators, and other adults using their own information. Children should not submit information. Do not provide a child’s name, email, school, or other personal details. If you believe a child submitted information, contact us so we can investigate and arrange appropriate deletion.

Cookies and tracking

The supplied website uses a session cookie for Adventure Pack access and administrator security. It does not include advertising pixels, analytics tags, social-media widgets, or third-party video players. It does not use information for cross-site behavioral advertising, and its code does not change behavior in response to Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals because that tracking is not enabled. Retention

We retain signup information only as long as needed for the access request or updates you selected, subject to applicable legal obligations. You can ask us to delete your signup information at the contact address above. After an unsubscribe request, stop marketing and keep only the minimum suppression record needed to avoid subscribing that address again. Correspondence is retained as needed to answer and document the request, unless a legal obligation requires longer retention. Deletion requests cover the server copy, Google Sheet, pending sync records, exports, and provider backups according to their retention cycles.

External purchases and links

All book purchases take place through Amazon, under Amazon’s privacy and purchase terms. We do not collect payment information here. External services may collect information when you follow their links.

Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Material changes to how submitted information is used should be communicated before the new use begins, with additional consent when required.
